2) I am a pack rat
3) I cook for a hobby
4) Both my father and step father walked me down the aisle when I got married
5) I have lived in five different states
6) I don't like orange juice
7) But I love fresh oranges
8) I attended 9 different schools in 7 different school districts in three different states by the time I graduated high school.
9) I own well over 4000 books
10) And am way past overload on the bookshelf space so over half are in boxes in the basement
11) I have asthma
12) I was a virgin until after I was out of college
13) I visit Las Vegas fairly regularly (my Mom moved there 13 yrs ago)

15) I don't want to have children
16) Some of my favorite authors are Mercedes Lackey, David Weber, Nora Roberts, and David Eddings
17) I avoid physical exercise like the plague
18) I volunteer with the largest anime covention on the east coast - Otakon - and have been a part of it since its second year
19) I have never owned a new car (the jeep doesn't count, that's the husband's car)
20) I once went to work so sick they ended up calling 911 and taking me to the hospital. My husband says I have an over developed sense of responsibility. I don't do that anymore.

Can't think of anyone to tag; most of my friends have already done this one. Feel free to join in the fun if you want, though!

I didn't know you have asthma. Wow! Do you take regular medicine for it?

My doctor thinks I do too. And my cat has it. Possibly my spawn as well. It seems to be quite common at this point.

Yes. Though to some extent I think doctors are telling people they have asthma, when what they really have is a condition that is treatable by asthma medications.

That happened to me--I was told I had asthma and kind of felt like it was hanging over me. Then my new doctor recently went over the history with me and said that I probably had a post-pneumonia condition called Something I Don't Remember that is treatable by taking asthma meds for a few months. Once through the course of medicine, though, I've been just fine ever since.

Common, but it affects different people differently. I have a type of coughing asthma, and it's at it's worse in the mornings when I wake up. Usually during the day it doesn't bother me at all any more, as long as if I woke up short of breath and coughing I use my inhaler. Did your doctor do the "blow in the tube" test with you and the spawn?

I have albuterol; I needed to take it pretty regularly when I first developed asthma but now it's just a back up.
